The past 2 months have been one big fiesta, leading up to Eli’s 2-year birthday bash. Eli “the dragon” went trick-or-treating for the first time this past Halloween. We terrorized our neighbors for over 2 hours and then donated all of our candy to the public. We celebrated Eli’s birthday with a perfect day at the SF Zoo. Eli spent time with the animals and rode a real steam engine called “the Lil Puffer.” Eli also spent hours playing with some mind-blowing gifts he received … esp from his DaBuoBuo and Aunt Penny. Time flies when you're having fun.
The past few months have been very busy and fun. Too many activities to even recall. Let me name a few and you can see for yourself: washing cars, visiting our new friend Charlotte, visiting the Steinhart and Monterey Aquariums, checking out the pumpkin patch, wrestling with YeYe, playing on the beach with NiNi, and trying on dragon costume for this Halloween. Time flies when you're having fun!
Elijah had the wonderful opportunity to celebrate the wedding of Aunt Chuckie and Uncle Glen. It was also a great excuse for a family reunion (on the Liu side). Eli also got to visit his long lost Aunt and Uncle in Pasadena – Er Buo and Aee – and played a duet on their baby G. Beautiful tunes. Don’t forget the Jelly Belly Factory tour, where Eli discovered his love of jelly beans. We also had a nice visit from the Perellos … although YeYe was not holding Eli in the most comfortable position, as you can see. Finally, Dad and Damien did a little camping in the family room just to test the equipment before doing the real thing (although after seeing Eli’s mischievous look in that photo, Daddy’s not so sure anymore).
