It's official. Eli's new name is "UC" (Ultimate Cheekers). Not really, but this kid's got some large ones indeed. It was a fun-filled 6th week. Eli met Uncle Mike and Aunt Sharim for the first time and spent an evening alone with Uncle Jo and Aunt Min, allowing mom and dad to go out for some sushi. Eli loves making faces at us and snuggling up with mom.
Only four weeks and Christine already worries like a veteran mom. Concerned about whether Eli has been eating enough, we decided to take him to the walk-in clinic for a weighing. When we got there, another mother had her baby on the scale and it read 12 lbs. She told us that her baby was 12 and a half weeks old. We put Eli on the scale it read 13 and a half lbs! The other mother was shocked to learn that he is only 4 weeks old (we think all the weight is in his ginormous cranium). Besides continuing to eat like a pig, Eli went to church for the first time. He also loves taking baths and making faces at his uncle, aunt and grandparents. Life is good.
