Back to Work

What a fabulous week! Christine starting working again officially. Eli's grandparents have taken on day care duty once a week and the three of them are really hitting it off. The bond grows stronger every day. Eli enjoys his play-dates with Naomi and Antonio, and Eli also got a special visit from his grand-uncle Moses from Penn State (a nice pic of Eli with Professor Moses and recently made Professor Jonah below). I wonder whether Eli will take an interest in physics or neurobio someday? The odds are probably on vet med or God forbid, law. Eli is getting more vocal every day and bets have been placed on whether "dada" or "mama" will be his first word. We just hope he can carry a tune. Perhaps a future American idol? Secrest out...

Hitting the 2 month mark!

It's hard to believe that 2 months have already passed by. Gone are the days of sleep deprivation, inexplicable crying and colic (well, not really, but they are far less frequent). Eli is starting to sleep through the night and is continuing to grow at a steady pace. His days fill up quickly with his favorite activities such as listening to stories from mom, mimicking grandpa, playing with dad, watching his animal friends, squirming around on his tummy, and just being his goofy self. With such a busy itinerary, Eli needs to stretch out and nap ... goodnight you prince of Maine, you King of New England.
